Privacy policy

Ponte Design is a small landscape design studio run by Calvin Hersey, based in Contra Costa County. This page explains what we collect through this website, what we do with it, and how to have it removed. It is written to match the consent line on our quote form.
What we collect
The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the quote form:
- your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number;
- the property address: the street address, city and ZIP code of the yard you want designed;
- what you tell us about the yard: front or back, site visit or photos, styles, notes, a rough install budget and a timeline;
- up to four photos of your yard, if you attach them.
The site has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Our website host records ordinary server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) to run and protect the site.
Why we collect it
To reply to you with a written quote and next steps, and to design your yard if you go ahead. That is the only reason. Photos are used to understand your space and prepare your design.
Your property address
The quote form asks for the address of the property being quoted. We use it to look at your lot on the map, to prepare your quote and, if you want one, to plan a site visit and check whether the $50 bridge-crossing travel fee applies. It stays private: we never publish it, and we share it with our licensed partner contractor only with your OK.
No mailing list
Sending the form does not put you on a mailing list. We contact you about your project only. If a newsletter ever exists, it will have its own separate opt-in.
Sharing
We ask before sharing your details with our licensed partner contractor, and we do that only when you want an installation quote. We do not sell personal information.
Form submissions are received and stored by our website host (Netlify), which processes them on our behalf, and by the email service that delivers them to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we are working with you, or until you ask us to delete them. Quote requests that do not go ahead are deleted after a reasonable time.

California residents have rights under state privacy law to know what personal information a business holds about them and to ask for it to be deleted. The contact details above are how to exercise them with us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new effective date.
Ponte Design provides conceptual design and planting plans for single-family homes. We are landscape designers, not licensed landscape architects or contractors. Construction documents and grading/drainage plans are prepared by licensed professionals, and installation is performed by licensed partner contractors.
